Sunshine
What can I say? I love this picture. I know, my modesty is overwhelming! The Gallery theme this week is sunshine and I have had a great time thinking about what picture to take.
I started off taking pictures of my son with ice cream all over his face. That was messy. Then I got on to taking pictures of flowers in the sunshine. Finally, whilst at my Grandma's Bed & Breakfast in Grassington this weekend, I went out into a field and took this picture of the buttercups reaching up to the sky. I like the focus of the picture and the scenic Yorkshire Dales in the background.
Thank you Tara for getting me out and about in the sunshine with my camera. Although this was taken with my trusty mobile phone!

Aww a lovely summer picture. x
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteBeautiful. I love fields of buttercups, it's such a happy sight. X
ReplyDeleteThank you. You're right, the yellow of the buttercups makes me smile!
DeleteAs a Yorkshire lass, I can only say it's awesome! Took one a little like this this am with my doggies in it!
ReplyDeleteI struggled to take one without teletubbies in it thanks to my son!
DeleteButtercups are lovely aren't they? I love how the sunshine glows through their golden petals.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are beautiful and such a vibrant colour!
DeleteThat is such a gorgeous photo! I know what you mean I take so many photos of the kids and then every now a scene of a plant will catch my eye, but sunny days do make for gorgeous photos like this!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much. It's hard not to take pictures of the scenery around here!
DeleteThis is really lovely, perfectly framed and the light is captured really well.
ReplyDeleteThank you. It is one I really like!
DeleteLovely, I love the Yorkshire Dales!
ReplyDeleteMe too. We couldn't live in a more beautiful place!
DeleteLovely shot. And I simply love those flowers. We want to move to Yorkshire one day. That photo is another reason why.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I highly recommend Yorkshire! (As long as you can cope with the weather!)
DeleteI love buttercups. The fields behind me are completely covered in them and the grass has grown so tall with them that I lose the doggie on walks...next time, I'm bringing my camera....
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. There were a few shots of buttercups in this week's gallery.
DeleteIf I were you, I'd be much more smug :) Beautiful.
ReplyDelete:) Thank you very much.
