Jingle Puzzles review and competition

We were recently sent a 'The Wheels On The Bus' Jingle Puzzle by Music Room. It is a floor puzzle which also includes a CD and an activity set with stickers. My son, who is three and a half, got stuck into it. He managed the jigsaw pretty well which surprised me as it was not as easy as many he has at home.

What they say

This jigsaw activity pack is an entertaining way to introduce music to children and to further observational skills. The Wheels On The Busjigsaw activity pack is designed for children aged 3-6 years and contains a sing-along CD with 12 action songs.

Included in the pack:
Large 1000mm x 200mm floor jigsaw puzzle with large pieces, suitable for young children
Sing-along CD with The Wheels On The Bus and 11 more children's action songs.
24 peel-able activity stickers
Sing-along song sheet with colourable jigsaw image and further activity ideas
Bonus audio story on CD, The Ostrich and the Hedgehog Race
Good points

The jigsaw is good and
CD is really nice to listen to with younger children as well, my daughter enjoyed dancing and it kept her busy whilst my son was doing the jigsaw!

Bad points

The inclusion of stickers meant that they got stuck onto the jigsaw when I wasn't looking. Possibly this is my fault and I should have just taken them away from him.

Would I buy it?

I would definitely buy it as a gift for a birthday for another child. It is a really nice set and I like that there is a fun pack and CD, as well as the jigsaw.

  12. Ieuan has just turned three and is very active. I'm trying to develop his attention skills by using puzzles. It's great to have some time alone with him as his sister is very good at monopolising attention (she's 4)!
