Acer Iconia Tab A210 Review

I was sent an Acer Iconia Tab A210 to review. I had never used a tablet before so was excited to try one. It was very easy to set up, I simply turned the tablet on, put my Google account details in and everything synced instantly. Very smooth. Adding apps was easy and Polaris Office was brilliant to use. I ended up taking it everywhere with me. It came to university and into lectures and seminars. It made life incredibly easy. Taking notes straight onto it rather than writing them down and then typing them up was so simple.

Browsing the internet was fast and it could handle multiple pop-ups with no slowing down.  Multitasking was easy and I really loved the Acer Ring UI, it made toggling between apps incredibly simple. It turned out to be really rather useful and I was very sad when I had to send it back!

Good points
The simplicity of set up is fantastic. You instantly have all your preferences set up.
The fact that you can use a USB is brilliant. Especially at uni, it is really useful to connect my pen to it.
Very sensitive to touch. Typing at speed was very accurate.
A really good size to fit in your bag!

Bad points
I have to admit that I didn't experience any down sides to the tablet in the few weeks that I tried it for.

Would I buy it?
Yes. I really enjoyed using it. The fact that you can use a USB is brilliant. It is an affordable 10.1 inch android tablet, retailing at £273 although you can find it cheaper if you compare prices. For more information on this tablet, have a look at Acer's website.

Disclaimer: I was sent this to try for a few weeks and it was then sent back. This is no way effected my review.

  1. I purchased this tablet and find the battery life very short and the screen is over sensitive, jumping to another page with just the slightest touch when scrolling. Not happy with it.
