June's Center Parcs Blogger Challenge is to create a den.
We haven't had very good weather this week, so an outside den was out of the question. I knew it would have to be an inside den. This weekend was the perfect chance to make the a den. The boy got his first ever proper bed. A really grown-up bed, which was my half-sister's when she was a teenager. The boy is only four and it just looks so big. He looks so teeny tiny when he goes to bed!
When you pull out the bookcase, it turns into a desk, but it also opens a door to the underneath of the bed. A hidden space for the children to play in. We have put the toy box in here, which means that most of the toys end up staying behind the bed!
You can also sneak in there from the end of the bed. We have put some cushions in there so that it is comfortable. Both children have adored spending time in their bedroom, which they haven't really done before. They have played hide and seek constantly, taking it in turns to hide under or on top of the bed!
If you want to be in with a chance of becoming a +Center Parcs UK blogger, you simply need to create your own hideaway, either indoors or outdoors and then write it up on your blog. The challenge closes on June 28th, so you had better get a wriggle on to enter. For full details, check with +Tots100 here.
I am a Center Parcs Family Blogger and this is my post for the Center Parcs Family Breaks challenge.
