Penwizard Personalised Peppa Pig book review

We were recently sent a personalised Peppa Pig book for my daughter to review. The process of making the book is very simple, you just need to add your child's name and surname, hair and eye colour and then it is printed off for you. Ours arrived two days after it was ordered and I was very impressed with the speed of the service. We have read the book almost every evening since we received it and both children love it!

What they say

Peppa and her family are going swimming with your child, but George is scared. In this personalised edition will George learn to love swimming as much as Peppa and your child?

Personalised books make perfect gifts and are a great way of getting your kids excited about reading as they hear and read their name and see themselves throughout the Peppa Pig illustrations.

Personalisation:
First name and surname
Hairstyle and colour
Skin tone
Eye colour

Book Specification
Paperback Hardback
Full colour gloss cover
 Laminated casebound cover
24 Full colour pages
Perfect bound paperback

Good points
  • The personalisation is fantastic. Even down to the fact that the hair and eye colour is the same as your child's.
  • The story is easy to read, very captivating and funny.
  • Really lovely that your child is part of the story.

Bad points

The fact that it is not a hardcover means that there is more chance the book can get ripped. It hasn't happened to ours yet, but I have had to put it up out of reach of the children.

Would I buy it?

Definitely. At £14.99 it is quite expensive for a book, but it is brilliant. Our son has begged for one since my daughter got hers, so I think we will be buying one for him in the near future! If you want to have a look at the range, click on Penwizard's website.
